Increasing capacity to provide effective consent education: Focus on boys and Autistic youth
Autistic youth and boys/young men in Canada need access to consent education that is tailored to their specific needs. The project "Increasing capacity to provide effective consent education: Focus on boys and Autistic youth" is funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada’s Gender-Based Violence Program and consists of two capacity-building projects to improve service provider knowledge and skills to communicate about consent and to positively respect and accept the boundaries throughout Autistic youth’s and boys’ relationships. The projects are oriented towards consent education for Autistic youth and consent education for boys. Each project includes (1) a consultation summary report, (2) an educator guide for health service providers, (3) an e-learning module for health service providers, and (4) an interactive online consent resource for youth.

This project has been funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada
