Le Hub de mobilisation des connaissances sur la santé sexuelle et la douleur génito-pelvienne (SHAPE) est un hub pancanadien axé sur la réduction des obstacles à l’information et au traitement fondés sur des données probantes pour la dysfonction sexuelle et la douleur génito-pelvienne. En partenariat avec le SIECCAN et grâce au financement des Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada, le SHAPE Hub développe des ressources complètes pour les femmes, les personnes de genre divers et les professionnels de la santé. 1 personne sur 3 assignée au sexe féminin à la naissance signale des symptômes chroniques de dysfonctionnement sexuel (tels qu'un faible désir sexuel, une absence d'excitation sexuelle, des difficultés à atteindre l'orgasme et une perte de plaisir). 1 personne sur 5 assignée au sexe féminin à la naissance signale des douleurs génitales ou pelviennes.

    SIECCAN works with educators, health professionals, community organizations, governments, and other partners to promote the sexual and reproductive health of Canadians. The Sex Information and Education Council of Canada (SIECCAN) is a registered not-for-profit charitable organization that was formed in 1964. She has a graduate degree in epidemiology with a research focus on perinatal, sexual, and reproductive health. She oversees SIECCAN's GBV Prevention within Sexual Health Education Project. Sophia Greene, MA (they/them) Project Manager Sophia joined SIECCAN in 2022 and works as the Sexual Health Education Coordinator. They are coordinating the Boys and Consent project and work across all other projects. Sophia is a certified Sexual Health Educator and their graduate research focused on embodied resistance to patriarchy and colonialism. Arlette Ibrahim, MPH (she/her) Project Manager Arlette joined SIECCAN in 2024 as a Project Coordinator. She completed graduate studies in public health with a focus in global health, particularly concerning menstrual hygiene management. Arlette is a part of the Newcomer Health and Autistic youth, Boys and Consent projects. Madison Giles, PhD (she/her) Project Manager Madison joined SIECCAN in 2024 as a Project Manager. Madison's research focuses on sexual health equity for groups who experience marginalization, including disabled, 2SLGBTQIA+, and Indigenous youth. He has a BA in Psychology from UBC and has previously worked in different areas of health research, including Sexual and Reproductive Health, Psychological Research, and Exercise Science.
